I'm not sure about VR dictation program, but graphics related program will
benefite from P3's faster FPU and possiblely SSE instruction set (if the
software can take advantage of it, eg Photoshop). You would expect
noticeable performance increase when upgrade for P2-450 to P3-550. I'd
suggest the upgrade.
