ONTRACK has a program called TIRAMISU. I'm going to be using this same
program on a client's machines this a.m. They were hit w/ the same virus.
TIRAMISU is a passive data recovery program. It is available in FAT16 and
FAT32 versions. You can download the trial version and run it for free.
You will see what it is able to recover, however, you won't be able to
copy the files it's recovered until you pay for the program.

My C: drive was made disappear by the CIH 1.2 virus on 4/26.
Now it can not recognize the c: anymore. BIOS still functioning
and it can boot from floppy. When I tried to read the partition
table with FDISK.EXE option=4(display partition), it said "no
partition defined". is there any way to recover some files
from this harddisk?
