I just solved a 'no sound' problem on my machine, but I'm really curious as to what caused the
problem. Somehow my sound card was disabled in bios, but I'm the only one who has access, and I
didn't disable it ( I haven't been in there in months ). I did recently uninstall, then reinstall my
Logitech QuickCam, but surely this could not have disabled my sound card? Any thoughts as to how it
got disabled?

- No viruses
- Sound card disappeared from device manager - no idea why or how
- No other hardware added/removed

AMD Athlon 1ghz
crystal WDM PCI sound card
WinMe
