I have the R300 and it prints quite well on cds and dvd's.  You have to
buy the inkjet printable cd's or dvd's.  They have the label already
attached to the media.  You can find this printer for cheaper.... I paid
149 for mine several months ago.  I buy my media here:

You can look for the inkjet printable media anywhere, though I found it
hard to find in normal outlets.
