This is the second time I've seen this hypothesis, but I can't for the life
of me figure out how it came in to existance. I, for one have never had any
problems on a mixed Fat16 / Fat32 network, either using MS onboard stuff or
netware.

 Partition Magic from Powerquest will do this job nicely without any
problems ( and all day long if you feel the need).
