Thank you for the information. I removed the 166Mhz chip, and replaced
it with the 100Mhz chip. It still didn't work. I kept changing parts and
found I had a bad motherboard, so I replaced it with a PA-2002 by FIC. My
video card was also not working, as the video card was a VESA, and I thought
it might work in the EISA slot. It wouldn't. So I got a free EISA video card
and now everything works. I will now put Linux on this computer. I have
Windows 98 on my 350MHz, Windows NT Server 4.0 on my 266MHz.
I do have another question now. I have Broadband now and am going to
network all these computers together. I have been to www.timhiggins.com and
the site states that I should put 2 NIC cards in the computer that is
connected directly to Broadband, to prevent my network from being part of
the larger (i.e. outside of my house) network. I had never heard this
before. Has anybody else?
