Rather than just backup your drivers, I'd recommend saving a complete
image of your system - in its newly installed, reliable state - using
something like...Ghost.

It's quick and simple to do, reliable,(for me anyway,so far)and the
restoration is fast as well....by a distance preferable to reinstalling
the OS, beating your peripherals into submission, reloading applications
etc.
