PCBUILD Digest - 2 Apr 2002 to 3 Apr 2002 (#2002-94)A small LAN. Normally fine. I was trying to copy an ghost image file (around 700 mb) from one computer to another and the source computer hung.

OS is Windows 98SE. File & Printer sharing installed. Client for MS Networks. Tried with TCP/IP ony as well as NetBUI only.

Tried bypassng the hub and using a crossover cable directly between the two machines - still same problem.

Tried transferring the file to the server (Win2K Server). The source machine still hung.

Any ideas ?
