Yes there is 32 bit color.
However only 24 are used to specify the color. The remaining eight bits are
used for something called alpha channel information. This includes such
things as information that specifies a degree of transparency to let an
underlying image....like from some an external video source....show through.
Not all video cards are capable of 32 bits so if it doesn't appear as a
option check with your video card manufacturer.
