>i have a problem with skiping mp3s.
i was told i was running to many programs off one hard
drive so i installed a second and put all my music
programs and mp3's on the latter. but now it seems to
skip just as bad if not worse. could it be my
integrated sound card just isn't reliable enough.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

This may or may not be a hardware issue. Could be just a download problem.
Did you create these or download them? If they are downloads do the same
files play well on another machine? Could be they are poor quality
downloads. Now if you created them yourself they should be OK, but your
machine may be a touch slow running them. Try not running anything else
while playing them (disable all problems by Control-Alt-Del and End Task for
everything but Explorer). Defragging your hard drive should also help.
