Subject: [PCBUILD] 3d cards

I currently run five computers with Matrox m3D cards in each combined with a
Monster Fusion, a RivaTNT, S3 Virge and SiS 6326. I still think the PowerVR
m3D cards provide better graphics than the VooDoo and RivaTNT chipsets.

You must use the Properties screen to "disable" the m3D when playing
Gluide/VooDoo games, and reinitialize it when you want to use the m3D. You
must use the m3D OpenGL patches, (not the VooDoo), for OpenGL games. This
can be a pain, but since you load the OpenGL drivers for the m3D into the
applications own directory you can sort of pick and choose which game to
play with each. You will also have to specify which drivers to use within
each game.
