i've been running AMD XP 2100+ since 1/28/03. i also installed a Volcano 7
Cooler A 1124 fan since they do run hot. about two months ago i added a
512MB and 256MB sdram to go along with the 256MB that was originally
installed. it really made a significant difference in operating speed. i
have not had any problems that i could identify w/the 2100+. i give it a
thumbs up.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Athlon XP 2100 and ASUS A7M266

Hi,
i've just upgraded the BIOS on my ASUS A7M266 mobo and will be upgrading to
an AMD Athlon XP 2100 (palomino core). i'd like to hear from anyone who's
had success with this and what issues i might run into.

thanks,
Chuck Finnigan
