Does anybody know where the "system" temperature reading originates from?
I'm guessing it's in the chipset, but I'm not sure.

Also, where is the best place (accessible!) to place a temp. probe on a
Celeron 300a w/Intel heatsink?

What should the normal operating temp. range be for both?

I recently updated my PC with the ABIT BX6-r2 and 300a combination o/c'd to
450MHz! Works like a charm at the CPU default core voltage of 2.0 and
doesn't get hot to the touch. The Winbond system software is reporting the
temps to be 34C for the system and 35C for the CPU (probe currently placed
on the upper edge of the CPU between it and the heatsink.

Any opinions/suggestion are welcome.

TIA,
Tim Klymkow
