This seems to be on the right track, but I am not there yet. In Device
Manager, Sound..., I have installed, "Windows Sound System (WSS) Device".
In Control Panel, Multimedia, I find no comparable listing. I have tried
"Audio, Playback, "Use any available device", without success. What am I
missing? or, am I missing something? I do hear beeps, dings, etc, but
through my external speakers.
