Susan,

48Meg is the on the low side of what I consider the minimum (64Meg)  but
it should be adequate for anything except heavy graphics work.  As I said
earlier, a resource level of 50-60% is not cause for alarm, but it IS low.
If we can get it up to 80% or so, you would see a distinct increase in the
performance.  But you need to tell us what is in the task list
(CTRL+ALT+DEL)
