You should have one file in your C:\windows\system directory of
Bios.vxd.   Examine your hard drive for other copies of the file and
either remove them or delete them.

One of two things is occuring, either you have the USB port
disabled in your CMOS settings or you do not have the proper
driver for your USB port.

First, open your BIOS at boot and examine the CMOS setting for
your USB port.  If it is disabled, enable it.

Second, check the install CD that occupanied your motherboard
from either the manufacturer or the OEM that built your computer
for update drivers for the motherboard.  Next, you can visit the
web site for the motherboard, they should have updated drivers
for your USB port.
