I don't think those restore CD's will do a full install of your OS, but rather just restore a damaged or corrupted OS to its original state. I suspect that you don't have a complete OS installed. You will probably need a copy of some version of Windows 9x to get it running again.

>Please help me solve a problem with my Compaq 7470 Destop. I took the hard drive outnbsp; and use it in mynbsp;other computer. Installed back on my Compaq, fdisk and format and use the original disks from compaq to restore to original configuration. Restore CDsnbsp;(2 disks)nbsp;will run completely, but when the machine restarts it give me a message to call compaq for help. I will appreciate any help on this matter.nbsp;T.I.A.nbsp;nbsp;Heriberto LLerena Jr.
