Most laptops have more than one slot for memory "sticks". If you have your
make and model number, you can check with the manufacturer about the maximum
RAM your laptop can hold.

I read with interest your email advice about increasing ram. Okay for a
desktop you can tinker with but wehat about the ram in a laptop?
