Hi folks, I'm coming to you with a two part question this evening:

1. Our PII server crashed last weekend with a message stating that we had a
corrupt ntoskrnl.exe file and to replace the file. Problem was, we couldn't
reboot the computer with either the 1st setup floppy for NT or a DOS boot
disk. The machine has two 4GB Quantum SCSI drives. We removed the master
HD and the computer started with the DOS disk. I'm curious as to why it
would not boot up with the bad SCSI drive still installed. Any ideas?

2. We have about 70 new P166 networked workstations installed in our
school. I used Ghost, then Drivecopy to clone the hard drives. For some
reason, some of the computers shut down from W95 properly, and others never
get past the clouds spash screen which means that scandisk runs on the next
startup. Can anyone tell me what I need to reconfigure to get the
misbehaving computers to shut down properly?

Thanks!

chuck
