I have an HP 4C controlled by a 2940UW and the scanner is detected as an

Same here.

Yes

Yes.

No I got the cable from HP, $75, why I would like to make it work. and this
was before I saw your first post with your set up with the Apple cable etc.

I didn't see where or how to disable searching for the non-existant devices.
Where is this done?

> Can you lower the speed (in SCSI Select) for the scanner down to 5 MB/sec?
Yes and done.

Same version here.

From the narrow connector on the card, ribbon to zip drive to a ribbon to
mini50 adapter in an open space on the case. As i said, this worked for a
now dead ext. jaz drive, which is removed and replaced by the scanjet

No the terminator is a SCSI VUE Hot Swap Term Cent50, male to female P/N
70-5509. Since I had already purchased the 50mini HP cable, This is what
Granite recommended to me.

Total length of ribbon and external cable is no more than 7feet. Does that
matter if ultra wide is disabled in bios?

As far as I am aware of, however I would love to know what you would
recommend to bench mark the drive with, and what kind or readings I should
expect. In fact I believe there may be another topic involved with this for
another time.

These are for NT. I'm running 95SR2.1, will they work with 95?

Thanks for your help as always,
Brad
