You've not said what o/s you're using, so it's hard to answer your question.
If you are using Win98 it very simple to boot from a startup diskette and
run "fdisk" and "format" to configure partitions and format the C: drive.
You can also boot from a system recovery diskette if using Win2K,
and XP, but from Windows Vista, I can't answer that question.

Hi,
When I try to format my computer, it tells me that volume is being used in
another process. Then it ask about dismounting something. What can I do to
avoid this and just simply format my computer?
