Hi Kevin,
A good place to get a general idea, not to mention a good power supply, try
www.pcpowercooling.com Find the power supply calculator.

Dear Listers,

I think this might have been brought up in the past but I'm not sure. How
can I tell what the power requirements are for a computer? I mean, like,
what is the minimum power supply that should be run with a set up like a AMD
900 Mhz, DVD, CD burner, floppy, harddrive and two case fans, not to mention
a soundblaster Live! Platinum? Is there a general rule of thumb?

TIA,
Kevin Nowicki
