Have a look at Tektronix for high quality network color printers,
especially the 740 line (color laser printers).

Tektronix has also just released an LPR client, called Phaserport, that
makes an NT server unnecessary- any Win95/98 machine can print directly to
a Tektronix printer over a network using Phaserport and TCP/IP. This would
work well on a peer to peer setup.
