Hi Kevin

Have you tried joining this forum
http://forums.viaarena.com/

They solved my problem with VIA chipset on my FC motherboard
and a creative soundblaster audigy card.
For me it required turning off ACPI and Plug n Pray OS in the bios.
Doing a clean install of Win 2K Pro. Install VIA 4 in 1 drivers.
Updating other device drivers. Reinstall your programs. Restoring
data to the programs etc. If you need more details let me know.
My unit has worked flaws for the past four months.

Good Luck
