Sandy,

You could try this,
My computer - open C drive - scroll down to the windows folder - Open
folder - scroll down to history - open folder, you will see between one and
three folders open each in turn and go to edit -select all - the contents
should then be highlighted - press delete on your keyboard, it will then ask
if you want to delete the items - click on yes, it may take a little time to
delete the contents depending on how much is in the folder and the speed of
your machine.
