I have an older Tyan 1462 (Neptune Chip Set) PCI/EISA motherboard. I have a
bunch of EISA cards (SCSI, Video, NIC) which would have to be replaced if I
upgraded the motherboard to get a faster processor. Ergo, I want to upgrade
the processor from 133 Pentium.

Now the question.

Does anyone have any first hand experience, good, bad, or indifferent, with
the powerleap PL-ProMMX upgrade adapter for socket 5/7 motherboards?

Including 400 K-2 they want $249. The adapter itself is $70 and I can get a
K-2 separately for about $150.
Doesn't strike me as a bad deal, as it should breath some new life into this
system for a few more years.

Thanks for your input.

Regards,

David Brenner
