You might try positioning the Drive in a different location. I had a strange
situation once where the CDRom would not work when placed right above a 5
1/4" drive. I figured it had something to do with some strange magnetic
fields around one of the drives that upset the inner workings. After a
Placed the CD Rom in a different bay, the problem disappeared!
