I believe that you can't dual boot between Win 98 and Windows Me because
Microsoft considers windows Me to really be an upgrade to Windows 98. You
will have to use an outside product like Doug said. If you use Windows 2000
Professional it will install onto a different partition without a problem.
I am dual booting with Win 98 and Win 2000. I tried to install Windows Me
first but the OS is not acceptable. Me is the worst piece of junk that
Microsoft has released in a long time. It is like working back in Windows
3.1. It doesn't even recognize a US Robotics Win modem and wouldn't accept
the Win 98 drivers for it. "Me" doesn't have any drivers for any of my
devices where Windows 2000 had all the drivers for all my devices and I have
a lot. Good luck!

If installed as Carl suggests you will have to re-jumper the hard drives
each time you want to change operating systems. You will have to make the
hard drive with the operating system you want to boot to as the Master on
the First Controller.

To install two operating systems on one PC you need another piece of
software called a boot manager. This software will be used to install the
second operating system and to allow you to chose which operating system
you want on each boot. One commercial one is Boot Magic from PowerQuest
(Of Partition Magic fame). I think that there are some free/share-ware
programs that will also do this. I seem to remember a program called
SwitchIt that may be a shareware that can be downloaded from one of the
shareware sites. Someone else can probably also suggest others.
