Many of the newer style PC cases, have a "snap in"
back plate to accomodate different motherboard
configurations.  It may be cheapest to take your
case to a PC shop and see if they can install
(or sell you) the correct back plate.

If the plate is not replaceable, then Herbert's
suggestion is the next best alternative.

There is no way to convert a USB device to parallel.
