I have my printer connected to one USB port and my scanner to the other. Recently I have been getting the error message: "Cannot access your scanner. Your scanner is currently being accessed by another application. Please wait for the application to finish or close it to allow the scanner access." What other application could it be referring to? Could it be a driver problem? I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling but that didn't work. My system is Win 98 and the scanner is an HPScanJet 4100C. Please help.
Thank You
