3Com is the market standard but I like Kingstone....either the KNC-30 or if
you want Linux support the 40. These are available from 22 to 50 dollars
and are trouble free. Kingstone is a very good company with easily
accessible support. They also provide a lifetime warranty on their NICs and
will replace a bad one overnight FEDEX.
