You might want to check and see if the router is at fault that brand has a poor track record. I've seen that restarting routers sometimes helps. You should see if you can get internet through a radio tower. This method seems to be getting more common, and offers better speed than satellite. There is one in Missouri called Eagle Network, which specializes in rural areas. If you can sometimes see an unknown wireless network, then chances are that this service is available to you.
