I need to either upgrade or build a new computer. I'd like to keep my cost
at $200 US for a motherboard and processor and possibly memory.

Presently I own a computer which has a new 13.6 HD
48 MEg of EDO RAM (72 pin SIMM0
CD rom
Scanner (ISA card)
2 Meg Trident PCI video
AW35 PRO sound
USR 56 K WInmodem
IBM 4x CDrom
INTEL 75 MHZ PEntium Classic

I plan on using all of the above with the new MB and (?) new processor.
I'd like to reuse the SIMM's if possible, but do have a 32 SDRAM DIMM
available.

I'll need to buy a new case, but could get by with a cheap one for now.
I really don't care whether the MB is Socket 7 or otherwise.

My major usage of this machine is OFFICE 97 , Internet cruising and LIMITED
game playing.
Any recommendations?

Regards,
Fred Hahnel
