Unsure if Iam posting this to the correct area?

I have documents that I scanned as ocr and saved them to my document files as bitmap images. I am unable to delete them. when I try the microsoft windows pop up box comes up and says you have
encountered an error  and asks if I want to sent it to microsoft? I have sent several of these errors to them.
