   Also, as an end-user you can call Microsoft at 1-800-785-3448 to make
sure that (A.) you weren't sold a pirated copy of a Microsoft product, and
(B.) you weren't sold a legal copy under illegal conditions.
   I can't tell you how many companies I've seen selling Microsoft OEM
software and hardware in cases where they should be selling the retail
versions. It really ticks me off, because there's a big price difference...
