increase voltage on DIMM will not increase speed. what it does, is to make
DIMM works possibly more stable if you experience stability problem related
to RAM, it is especially important in overclocking world, where FSB and RAM
speed are often out of spec.  Also, on some mobo, in order to run fast DDR
timing, you need to increase voltage to stabilize operation.  And yes, RAM
does run hotter that way, so good air flow, and possible RAM heatsink is
required (all fast high-end RAMs have heatsink).
