I have a Brother HL-1440 printer. I am trying to increase the memory in the printer. I have
installed what is supposed to be a 32mb SIMM. The printer is recognizing it as only 16mb. As far
as I can tell, there is no configuration that needs to be done. Do I possibly have a defective
SIMM? Or did I get a 16mb SIMM when I paid for a 32mb SIMM?

As always,thanks for your help.

Kevin
