I just happened across a (very) short article entitled: "Two monitors are
better than one" in the "Toronto Computes" magazine, April 1999, page 12
paper version, or (http://torontocomputes.com).  It refers to the Matrox
G400 chip.  "One neat feature is DualHead Display, which allows the user
to connect an additional monitor or TV ..."
