Yes, the first time I did, didn't work, so then I didn't, also didn't
work.

I would agree, the first time I didn't overwrite, didn't work, then I
thought a newer file may be corrupted so I did overwrite, still didn't help,
I am convivced the problem is a file not installed by networking, although
it concerns the loading of the TCP/IP stack.

Yup, I did reinstall all patches that I had. (Mostly OSR1, the PWL
patch, and thats about it).

Win95 OSR 1, or commonly refered to Win95A.
