------The spec manual for my Intel VS/440FX mbrd under the heading Flash
Memory Implementation,  states there is a 16KB Boot Bloc (Not FLASH
erasable)   within the Intel PA28FB200BX  2 Mb Flash component. In normal
mode this is not accessed, but in Recovery Mode, set by a jumper on the bd
the address is inverted so that it resides at the location where the CPU
expects the bootstrap loader to exist and is provided for use "in the
unlikely event that aBIOS upgrade procedure were interrupted, causing the
BIOS area to be in unstable condition".
   I assume this would permit booting after the BIOS area were corrupted
from whatever cause, and then a new flash BIOS, available on line, could
then be installed.  Is this right???
