Aside from updating your bios, go into Device Manager and check the
Resources the card is using.  You looking to see if the I/O & Memory Ranges
are close to those of another device.  If so, try changing the offending
values.  My rule of thumb is to pick a range and click up 5 times from
there; return to selected range, and click down 5 times.  If no other
devices show up within the ranges I scanned, I return to my selected range
and leave it there.  This has solved some problematic display issues I've
had in the past (notably Matrox cards).  HTH.
