Yes, it is definately possible.  I have seen devices to do that before in
stores, and two that I found at www.cdw.com are

http://www.cdw.com/product/default.asp?EDC=150064 .  I do know that a large
part of the reason for the creation of these is because of the iMac (USB,
Ethernet, and modem) and upgrading Mac users wanted to be able to access
their SCSI devices, and they are also created for PCs too.
