I've had great luck using a MotorolaWN825G wireless adapter working on
my Toshiba 440CDT and 720CDT , I had similiar problems until I switched
from Win98SE to Win2K . There seem to be some issues with the way
Win98SE handles packet request on those older machines . Also check your
card vendors website to see if there are updated drivers for your card .
