I recently purchased a Gateway laptop with Vista. I am having  
troubling establishing an internet connection, and once established,  
maintaining it. I know it's not a problem with my router because I  
have no problems with my Mac.

I see that many people who use Vista are having this problem. Do you  
think I can eliminate this problem by going to XP? If so, who sells  
the least expensive copy of XP?
