I sent this message over a week ago and have heard nothing at all.

Karen

Hi. I had my old Dell computer reformated. It was purchased in 1997.

The person who did this, whom I cannot reach right now, said when it was
used again, it would have to be loaded with something (?) and then drives
made, or something like that.

Originally it had Windos 95, then was upgraded to Windows 98, then
upgraded again to Windows98SE. I only have the two upgrade disks.

It is a Dimension XPS D333 Intel Pro 100 with a Pentium 2 processer.

Now I want to give this computer to a friend. What do I need to do?

Would Windows XP work on it? Is that all?

Or what do I need to do?

Thanks

Karen
