A friends computer gives an error message that autoexec.nt is missing or corrupt when he tries to start an older program in windows xp. They're right it is missing from system32. I can copy and paste from windows\repair to windows\system32 and everything works fine untill a reboot, then it's missing again. I have run spybot search and destroy, ad aware, win patrol, and avg, nothing seems to help. anyone have any ideas how to cure this?
