Thank you for responding. I did not install this drive, it came installed.
I haven't done anything inside of this computer. The CD I installed was on
my old computer which is resting peacefully in my basement right now. The
only strange thing I remember happening to this drive was a day or so before
this problem came up was it was a little finicky about taking in the disk
and hesitant about ejecting, it other than that it worked fine. But thank
you any and all help you guy's and gal's are all being so nice and helpful.

per disk on LS120 disk), the drive use IDE interface, so please check if you
have set jumpers correct (master or slave). If the jumper is ok, check if
there is any loss connected cable caused by adding the cd-rom. I think the
LS120 drive is still good, just some mis-configuration or loss cable.

I started up my computer a couple of day's ago, & everyday since. I receive
this screen with all the nuts and bolt's listed on it with 2 short beeps and
this message at the bottom saying,

you first boot up in the morning but thats it. It used to take the disk from
your hand electronically, I guess, but now you have to actually insert it
like my old computer and it doesn't eject it either like the
