Hello,

As required by my employer, I passed my A+ about 2 weeks ago after reading
the books published by Coriolis (Exam Cram and Exam Prep). The exam is in 2
parts, core and elective. You must pass both exams within a 90 day period
in order to become certified. The material you are expected to know covers
a very broad range of topics and can be challenging. I found that taking as
many of the 'practice exams' as I could gather a valuable strategy. By the
way, the cost of both exams is now $215.
