I am sending this again. First time I think body was empty. Soory.

I've got a fast ethernet only (100mbs) hub at home with an uplink port on
it. I have recently been given an old Compaq ProSignia with a 10 mbs
ethernet card. I also have an old laptop with a 10 mbs pc card I'd like to
hook up at home also.

The question: Can I get a 10 mbs hub (same manufacturer?) and link it and
the fast hub through the uplink port, and then attach the 10 mbs cards to
the slow ethernet hub and have all these devices actually connect? Or would
I need a auto sensing 100/10 mbs hub to accomplish this?

TIA for any help.

David Brenner
