Good Morning Everyone,

Just as an update for everyone about our recent poll and
Moderation.  We are now closing the poll and please do not
send anymore responses.  I am turning off the filters that collected
the responses.

Here are the results:

Votes received:                       473
Votes for Moderation:              337      71.2%
Votes against Moderation:       136       28.8%

Clearly this is quite lopsided and your opinions about this were
not what we expected.   I do wish we would have had a larger
sampling of our subscribers, as this is less than 1/3 of those
subscribed and as all of our readers could vote, then less
than 3% of our readership actually voted.

We are not going to rush to any changes about our current list
management and we will take this under advisement...  for now
we will continue with the lists in the current "unmoderated mode"
as we have seen only "minor abuse" and no real problems...  and
the problems that have arisen were easily cured.
